Germanfest will be held Aug. 11-13 at RiverScape MetroPark in downtown Dayton. The event runs from 5 to 11 p.m. on Friday and Saturday, and from 11 a.m. to 6 p.m. on Sunday. A Germanfest 5K/10K race/walk will be held on Saturday, Aug. 12, at 9 a.m.

MCD crews have finished clearing the Great Miami Bike Trail of trees and branches. Tuesday's storms left trees across the trail and debris scattered along the trail. Crews worked throughout the morning and early afternoon to clear the trail for users.

Trees are down along the Great Miami River bike trail as a result of yesterday's storms. MCD crews are working to remove the trees from the trail in West Carrollton, Miamisburg and Franklin. Branches are down in Dayton. Use caution.
