River Levels and Weather

MCD monitors the weather and collects precipitation and river level information at river gaging stations to understand current and potential river conditions. MCD has been cooperating with United States Geological Survey (USGS) and the National Weather Service (NWS) for more than 100 years to gather this information. USGS and NWS use the information for a variety of purposes, including predicting river levels.
