Permits and MCD Flooding Easements Map in development

MCD owns about 11,000 acres of land along river corridors in addition to controlling flooding rights on about 35,000 acres of land upstream of the five dams. Currently, MCD is developing a new open-data GIS and mapping webpage to help property owners and communities understand where the MCD system manages land use to protect them from flooding.
