July precipitation

July brought an average of 6.63 inches of precipitation to the Great Miami River Watershed — 2.26 inches above the monthly average. The high station was Springfield’s Wastewater Treatment Plant (10.07 inches), and the low station was West Milton (4.81 inches). As of July 31, the Great Miami River Watershed had received 32.10 inches of precipitation, which is 7.05 inches above average for this point in the calendar year. Over the past 12 months, the Great Miami River Watershed received an average of 48.24 inches of precipitation. That’s about 8 inches more than usual.
