August precipitation near average

August delivered an average of 3.27 inches of precipitation to the Great Miami River Watershed―0.07 inches above average for the month. The high station was Dayton (5.22 inches), and the low station was Germantown Dam (1.50 inches). As of the end of August, the Great Miami River Watershed had received 29.17 inches of precipitation in 2021 which is 0.39 inches below average for this point in the calendar year.
